join stephanie mcclenny of jam & preserves company, confituras, as we announce our late winter/early spring classes! our first class will focus on the upcoming holiday for lovebirds and sweet friends alike, valentines day - canning 101: sweets for my sweet! in this hands on class we will take you through the basics of canning safety, equipment, fruit selection, and most importantly, the balance of flavor and sweetness preparing meyer lemon curd (for all of your dessert needs!) and chocolate jam! more than a class, these are skills that will last a lifetime. learn how to can now for the upcoming spring fruit bounty. all equipment and fruit is included, everyone takes home a jar of jam from the class, and light refreshments will be served. join us!
this is a beginner/intermediate course, but all levels are welcome. stay tuned for more advanced classes in the near future!
