The Hope for Tomorrow Cancer Support Group, in support of Cancer Prevention Awareness Month, will present a Cancer Awareness Symposium on Saturday, February 15, starting at 10 a.m. This Symposium will address, Cancer Prevention “The Keys to Good Health”. Approximately 1.6 million new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed this year, and about 580,350 Americans are projected to die of cancer. That’s almost 1,600 people a day. Cancer remains the second most common cause of death in the US; accounting for nearly 1 of every 4 deaths. During this symposium, important information will be shared about cancer, what causes it, and how to prevent it. You will gain an awareness about recognizing the risk factors, the importance of early detection, descriptions of diagnosis, and treatment options. Join us on Saturday, February 15, at 10 a.m. at our Mandarin campus for your personal Keys to Good Health. Sign up at the registration tables, or online. On-site registration begins at 9:30 a.m.
When & Where
The contemporary church must change her physical feature. For too long, we have been identified by steeples, suits, bricks and buses. Our new look should resemble a Body that is able to transform the lives of the oppressed, possessed and the depressed through Scripture.
Here at Hopewell, God's Word is preeminent. You will discover that whether one is 2 years of age or 92 years of age, there is something for everyone at Hopewell. We are the church Where the Word is Changing Lives and your needs are met by God's Promises.
