Internet week Europe & GA present: INTRODUCTION TO IOS WORKSHOP

Introduction to iOS Workshop

14 November – 15 November
2 Sessions

This workshop is part of Internet Week Europe 2013.

When Apple’s iOS mobile operating system was opened up to third party developers in 2008, it created a gold rush of successful independent apps available in the App Store. With access to the SDK, anyone with a strong idea, knowledge of Objective C, and the right tools can become a successful iOS developer. In this practical, two-day workshop, you’ll develop your very own app from start to finish and publish it on your own device.

  • Be able to define and setup the tools needed for iOS development.
  • Learn how to code, compile, and run applications in xCode.
  • Design and implement a user interface using interface builder.
  • Find out how to write basic Objective C and be able to design a simple Objective C project.
  • Understand the process of app development from concept to implementation.
