Slow Art Day is a worldwide celebration of art that encourages people to look at art SLOWLY – and thereby experience art in a new way. You can see more about Slow Art Day and the mission behind it on our website: http://SlowArtDay.com.
As Slow Art Day approaches, you’ll hear from your host with more information, as well as instructions about what to do when you arrive for Slow Art Day.
Where and when to meet
Michelle will be waiting at 1.00 pm with a trolley of stools, at the front desk where you will be able to pick up a stool and a map . Alternatively you can pick up a stool from the Small Theatre if you come a bit later. You may choose to view works as an individual, or come with friends or family. There will be others participating in the program who you will no doubt encounter along the way. Michelle will wander between the suggested works for an informal conversation - but please note that the program is largely self guided until we meet to discuss your experiences at 3.00 pm in the Small Theatre.
