In partnership with The Merge Summit, The ARC presents"Can We Talk?" : Creating Success in the Entertainment Industry with industry veteran Debra Langford.

Join entertainment industry veteran Debra Langford for “Can We Talk?”, a candid conversation on creating success in the entertainment industry. Drawing on her 25 years of success as a top executive in two of the largest global media companies, as well as production companies, studios and a publishing company, she will not only share strategies to help you build your career but, more valuably, she’ll reveal the insights from behind the executive desk.

Whether you aspire to grow as an executive or as an artist, you do not want to miss this opportunity to spend an evening with this amazing woman who will inspire, challenge and empower you to move forward.

Debra Langford is a consummate senior media executive with expertise in development, production, executive search, inclusion and business diversity. Her experience includes high profile positions with NBCUniversal, TimeWarner, Urban Entertainment, Essence Entertainment, Quincy Jones/David Salzman Entertainment, Warner Bros. Television and Hanna-Barbera Productions.

Debra Langford has been appointed by President Barack Obama to serve on the USO Board of Governors in 2011. She was the 2010 & 2011 Southern California Vice President of NAMIC Southern California, the 2009 & 2010 President of NAMIC So Cal, a member of the advisory boards for the American Black Film Festival (ABFF), the African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA), the USC Leventhal School of Accounting Summer Leadership Program (SLP) and the USC Black Business Students Association (BBSA).
