Can Nutrition Enhance Learning and Cognition?

Are there lifestyle choices we can make that might benefit our memory and other cognitive abilities? Learn about pioneering research being conducted on the impact of nutrition on brain and cognitive function at the newly created Center for Nutrition, Learning, and Memory, involving University of Illinois scientists in partnership with Abbott Nutrition. Taking advantage of interdisciplinary teams from the Beckman Institute, the Institute for Genomic Biology, the Nutritional Sciences program and the Neuroscience program, we are exploring beneficial effects of nutrition for enhancing, maintaining, and/or restoring fundamental aspects of learning, memory, and cognition throughout various stages across the lifespan. We explore the extent to which nutritional choices can contribute to lifelong cognitive health.
