About Campus MovieFest
Originally created by four students, and now the world's largest student film and music festival, CMF is the only event of its kind to provide Apple laptops, camcorders, AT&T phones, and training all for free to tens of thousands of students around the globe. Students have one week to create their own short movies at over 50 colleges and universities, with each school hosting red carpet finales to showcase its top movies. The best of the best move on to the CMF regional grand finales in San Francisco, at Atlanta Symphony Hall, or at Lincoln Center. These regional events determine the top student teams that move onto the CMF International Grand Finale on the Lot of Paramount Studios on June 26, 2009.
