Free the Children’s mission is to create a world where all young people are free to achieve their fullest potential as agents of change.  Free the Children began when 12-year-old Craig Kielburger decided to take action after reading a news story about child soldiers in 1995.  The charity has grown to include many domestic and international programs which are offered in many different countries.
