The Run4Life 5K Run/Walk will step off at Mount Hope Cemetery on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 11500 S. Fairfield in Chicago. The step off is at 7:00 am.
Mount Hope Cemetery is an anchor in the Morgan Park community and located just 11 miles from downtown Chicago. Hundreds of participants will run or walk through the scenic landscape and rolling hills of this 125-acre property with its rich 144 year history.
A portion of the proceeds will go to support the research to cure diabetes. According to the American Diabetes Association, nearly 26 million children and adults in the United States have diabetes with 1.9 million new cases being diagnosed annually.
