Event Details

We welcome you to join your ACHE colleagues from the California Association of Healthcare Leaders (CAHL) for networking and a stimulating panel discussion on the value of service-line development in the success of your organization.

Many healthcare organizations are using a service-line approach to organizational development for the purposes of strategic planning, business planning, operations and marketing.

Service-line development is an organizational tool and can increase physician involvement, align resources and provide an integrated continuum of patient care. Benefits can include increased customer satisfaction, quality and performance improvements, market share gains, and financial improvement.  This program will review common operational and cultural issues of organizing around service lines followed by panelist presentations of specific service-line case studies.

The evening’s discussion and question & answer session will be moderated by:

Susan Heck, Senior Vice-President of Corazon, Inc.

The evening's panel will include:

* Patty Haggen – Executive Director for Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at John Muir Health.

* Michael Skehan Executive Director, Clinical Services and Service Lines, UCSF Medical Center

* Todd Smith Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Sutter Health East Bay Region

* Jayme Zage, Ph.D. Vice-President of Sg2

Please join your fellow CAHL members and community colleagues for the evening at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley Light Hors d'oeuvres will be served.  Registration and directions are available at:
