Event Details

Over 120 applicants from around Florida competed for the 3rd Annual Cade Prize for Innovation.   The Sweet 16 finalists were named on February 20 and the Final Four were announced on April 24.

 

Come join us on Friday, May 11 at the Santa Fe Fine Arts Hall in Gainesville to see which one of these four teams will take home a $50,000 cash prize, courtesy of the Gainesville Community Foundation, and $10,000 in legal services provided by Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP in West Palm Beach.

Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention

The Cade Museum for Creativity + Invention - located in Gainesville, Florida - is named for Dr. James Robert Cade, the physician, musician, researcher and inventor best known for leading the University of Florida team that created Gatorade.  The Museum's mission is to inspire creative thinking, future inventors, and early entrepreneurs.  The Museum is currently raising funds to open a 21,000 square foot building in downtown Gainesville.
