There are several opportunities that in-house marketing/design departments provide to creatives looking to broaden their area of expertise. However there are just as many careful considerations that a designer must make when presenting and preserving creative thinking in the broader context of a singular corporate interest.
Join Benjamin Gelnett and a number of marketing and design professionals to discuss insights on "in-house" politics and how to successfully navigate through environments often inhospitable or adverse to the creative process.
AIGA Charlotte BuzZ is a meet-up event geared toward Charlotte area creatives and small business owners/employees. Please come join us for coffee as we discuss a different topic each month. Come to learn or come to share the knowledge you already have. Either way, just come see what all the BuzZ is all about.
About The Spoke Easy
The Spoke Easy is all about the joy of riding a bicycle. They design and build custom bicycles and offer a gathering space for cyclists and designers. Remember the thrill of riding your first bike, the pumping of the pedals, and the wind through your hair as you set out on an adventure around the block? They want to help you experience that all over again and make cycling a part of your daily life—no stretchy pants required. And while they’re at it, they will build a community of like-minded individuals eager to celebrate all things involving two-wheeled transportation.
