In Bungalow 101, HCBA's very own preservationist, Faith Rackow will discuss Chicago's bungalow history. Learn about bungalow origins and the development of the unique Chicago bungalow style. She will also discuss the Arts and Crafts Movement, the growth of Chicago's bungalow neighborhoods and why we think bungalows will be around for another 100 years!

Our mission is to create a market for reclaimed building materials. We do this by diverting materials from landfills and making them accessible for reuse through our retail warehouse, by promoting sustainable deconstruction practices, by providing education and job training programs, and by creating innovative models for sustainable reuse.
