Event Details

New Jersey has one of the strongest Anti-Bullying Laws in the country.  This workshop will provide an overview of the NJ Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act that was created to combat bullying in public schools.  Bullying is a harmful action towards another student or any act that infringes on a student's rights at school.  It is important to know ways to prevent and, when necessary, respond to bullying in school.  In addition, this presentation will discuss what schools are required to do under the law including creating a positive environment for students.    Join the conversation regarding what students, families, educators and communities can do to help in providing a safe and welcoming environment for all students.
