Whether you've been reading Bullish since the beginning, or whether an astute lady-friend sent you here, welcome. And we hope to welcome you to Miami.
Jennifer Dziura's column, "Bullish," debuted in April 2010 on TheGloss as a column that promised to “take on issues related to the workplace, money, and entrepreneurship.” Since then, GetBullish.com has become a headquarters for Bullish, and a thriving community, and Bullish has expanded into other topics with which any gentlewoman must grapple: romance, friendships, travel, gender relations, fitness, philanthropy, and more.
It's time for bullicorns and aspiring gentlewomen to converge for the second annual Bullish Conference.
The poolside garden of cow sculptures was just one of the many reasons – well, other than the gorgeous weather, immediate beach access, poolside luxury, Southeast Asian cuisine and expert cocktails, and LGBT- and woman-positive policies – that we felt the Surfcomber Miami was perfect for this small and powerful event.
We've kept this event small -- only 40 tickets are available -- to make sure the "quiet ones" don't get lost in the crowd. The quiet ones are often the most interesting.
What's on the agenda? Well, we're not so into panel discussions – we find that the panelists mostly make it about themselves, not about you. We're about powerful, practical workshops, concentrated inspiration, and networking with people who believe in authenticity over, well, "networking."
We believe in social justice through ambition. We believe in becoming better. We believe in working hard and cleverly. We are Bullish.
