About the Seminar:
Who are you? More importantly, who do people say you are? In today's everyone knows everything about everybody world, it's imperative that you intentionally build, refine and constantly track your online identity. A recent Nielsen survey says 97% of us shop online before buying locally. 92% of us trust recommendations from friends and family over all other forms of advertising and 79% trust online reviews, an increase of 15% in the past four years.
In this session, we'll explore ways to grow your online presence systematically through using LinkedIn, Google Plus, blogging, Facebook and other social media tools. You'll become familiar with Yelp, Angie's List, Google Reviews and Google Places and other online review tools. Learn how to track your online identity and some simple tools to improve it. Be prepared to find out what people are saying about you! and learn how to track it!
About the Presenter:
Kevin joined Social Bridge Media as the Vice President of Business Development after specializing in strategic planning, creating business partnerships and building sustainable sales systems and community marketing programs while working with more than forty companies in the U.S. and Canada including, locally, the Portland Tribune and Community Newspapers. Social Bridge Media works with businesses, government agencies and non-profits to create and execute social media strategies.
Kevin is the past President of the Oregon chapter of the American Marketing Association and has served on the board in various capacities for nine years. He has served on the Portland Metro Leadership Council for the SMART program (Start Making a Reader Today), is a past chair of the Beaverton Area Chamber of Commerce board, past chair of the Beaverton Education Foundation board and past chair of the Leadership Beaverton board.
