Building Partnerships:CRA for Community Based Organizations

This workshop will provide information on the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and how to improve your ability to effectively collaborate with banks. We will have two sessions.
In the morning session, you will gain an understanding of: 1)How you can participate in the CRA review process. 2)The regulation’s community development categories. 3)The different types of community development activities.
In the afternoon session learn how to approach banks with partnership opportunities that resonate with their goals.
There is no charge to attend. However, registration is required.
Who Should Attend: Non-bank community service and community development practitioners from local government and nonprofit organizations that provide social services, housing, educational or employment services to low- and moderate-income communities and underserved consumers. This workshop is not intended for bankers.
