Abstract

Using Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 and various Visual Studio Extensions we will utilize a number of open-source programming technologies/frameworks to build a web site.  The presentation will demonstrate how to use ASP.Net MVC 4’s Web Api to create Kendo UI Web (free version of Kendo UI) grids, how to implement MVVM with KnockoutJS and CoffeeScript, and how to utilize Twitter’s Bootstrap CSS Grid system with LessCSS.  We will show each of these technologies in action separately, then show them all integrated together.
