Building Community: Education Day 2011
Saturday, May 7, 2011 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (MDT)
Get out your pencils and paper and jump into annual Education Day on May 7, 2011 brought to you by UC Denver’s Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center (HTC) and the Hemophilia Society of Colorado (HSC). Being part of the affected community often means learning new research and resources as well as connecting with other community members – supporting each other and finding support.
We'll be in the same location as last year, with a slightly different layout. We hope to have free parking tokens and plenty of signage on where to go. While this is a FREE program for community members, please consider making a donation of any size to HSC to make sure we can continue and improve programming such as Education Day!

Attendees will also have an opportunity for one-on-one time with sponsors and individuals from industry. Want to read all about the sessions - visit the HSC website and download the complete program!
For all the details related to children's programming, download the complete program on the HSC website. There is going to be a service-learning program for the middle and high school kids and visit from the Butterfly Pavilion too! If you are interested in learning more or want to volunteer during the children’s program, please contact Amy Board; we will have more details soon.
HTC Open House
Finally, HTC will be unveiling its new home during an open house at the end of Education Day where Dr. Hathaway will be honored. Dr. Hathaway has made an immeasurable difference in so many people’s lives, no the least of which was creating our treatment center. Sign up for your tour time now through our registration page, as we know these spots will fill up fast. There will be plenty of socializing and opportunity to share learning experiences as well. At the HTC Open House we will announce the winners of the Booth Bingo!
