Come learn how to budget your resources and determine financial priorities. We will discuss what a healthy savings rate is and then the different investment vehicles you can utilize to make these savings grow for you (Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, ETFs, 401k, IRA and Real Estate). Then we will get into the basics of determining an asset allocation and the proper amount of diversification. Lastly, we will cover how the current economic environment will impact these different asset classes as well as expected returns for diversified portfolios. By the end of the night you should have an actionable roadmap on how to start building your personal financial empire.
Rocky manages the client service and trading operations of the Northern California office. He oversees the advice and portfolio strategies implemented in Northern California. Prior to joining Beacon Pointe, Rocky was the Chief Investment Officer of Excelcia Financial Group and the Portfolio Manager for Excelcia Capital Partners a Global Macro Hedge Fund. His background is in Macroeconomic research, Portfolio Construction and Derivatives Trading. Rocky graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in Business Economics. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco. Rocky resides in San Jose, California where he continues to enjoy his passion for Ice Hockey and Snowboarding.
