Building a Sales Team & Organization

Building a sales team is one of the most challenging mountains to climb for a fast-growth B2B startup. The questions are endless: Where to find the talent? How to compensate them? Hire an inside salesperson, lead generator, biz dev manager, or account manager? What type of support to provide? How to train and manage them?
For the first time, The Junto Institute is inviting entrepreneurs from the community to a hands-on class from its 10-month, cohort-based curriculum. Why? Because we keep hearing from founders who want to get better at building their sales organization. After all, to effectively scale a company, the founders must find a way to drive revenue so they can increasingly focus on leading the team and running the business.
Our instructor is Rich Lyons, co-founder and CEO of LyonsCG, an ecommerce digital agency with 150 employees. Rich will share experiences, mistakes made along the way, and lessons learned. He'll also ask founders hard questions they need to answer to effectively build a high-performing, results-oriented sales team; share thoughts on what tactics could work for your company; and provide tools he's created to manage his own sales team.

We're making only five seats available to entrepreneurs from the community for this intimate and highly interactive workshop. In addition to learning from Rich, attendees will hear the experiences of peer founders from the Junto II companies as they build their sales organizations and cope with similar challenges.
