This fun event includes an opportunity to test drive some of New Balance's latest kicks, learn a little about trail running, log a few easy miles on the trails, AND have an awesome post run B(RUN)CH provided by La Boulange Bakery!
ADDITIONALLY, B(Run)ch participants receive a FREE pair of New Balance socks (200 maximum)!
*NOTE-ALL WHO REGISTER WILL HAVE A SHOT AT WINNING A FREE PAIR OF NEW BALANCE RUNNING SHOES!
-9AM-9:30AM-Arrive at Presidio Sports Basement. New Balance will be on site with some of their hottest kicks for you to 'test drive'!
-9:30AM-10AM-Trail 101. Veteran trail runner and TRX Trainer extraordinaire, Charles Lantz will break down the basics to keep in mind when tackling the trails. Marathon Matt will share a few nuggets of trail wisdom as well.
-10AM-10:30AM-Hit The Trail. Charles & Marathon Matt will lead you through a simple, easy trail run launching from the Sports Basement. The run is just a hair over 4 miles (4.337). Here's a link to the course map-

We are thrilled to have Larkin Street Youth Services engaged as our official B(run)ch beneficiary!
Larkin Street was founded in 1984 by a group of local business owners, church members, and neighbors who were concerned by the rising number of young people engaging in risky behaviors on the streets of San Francisco.
With 25 comprehensive youth service programs located throughout San Francisco in over 13 sites, Larkin Street Youth Services is now an internationally recognized model successfully integrating street outreach and emergency shelter, primary medical care, transitional housing, and job training and scholarship assistance to get homeless and at risk kids off the streets.

-If you have no intention of test driving New Balance's latest/greatest shoes, you can show up at 9:30AM for Trail 101.
-Likewise, if you're a trail guru, you can show up and join us for the run at 10AM.
-If you have no interest in any of the aforementioned, simply join us for b(run)ch at 10:30!
