Brownbag Program: Engaging Technical Staff in Marketing
Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM (EDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
One of the greatest marketing resources an AEC firm has is the expertise and knowledge of its technical staff. Often, getting technical staff involved in marketing is a difficult feat. Overcoming these challenges takes creativity and an understanding of the communication styles of both marketing and technical professionals.
During this open forum discussion, BCWH marketer, Christie Thompson, will discuss her winning strategy for developing an understanding of marketing among technical staff. You will walk away with real-world advice from marketers who have overcome the challenges of getting technical staff involved in marketing and, most importantly, strategies to implement in your firm.
11:30 - 12pm - Sign-in, lunch, and networking
12pm - 1pm - Chapter announcements and forum
We will begin promptly at NOON; please arrive at 11:30 am to enjoy networking and lunch before the presentation begins. As always, SMPS Virginia Brownbags are open to members and non-members, so please feel free to bring interested colleagues and friends. Bring your own lunch.
