The Bronx Library Center is pleased to announce our 4th Annual Job Expo to be held Wednesday, September 17th, 2014 from 11:00am to 5:00 p.m. on the Concourse Level of the library.
Our Career and Educational Information Services Department has organized to match employers that have openings with job seekers who have completed one-on-one counseling, developed a professional resume and cover letter and completed other pre-screening activities in advance.
The purpose of this event is to connect job seekers with businesses that are hiring or plan to hire in the near future. We anticipate that the experience and education levels of attendees will be diverse. CEIS hopes to provide a “One-Stop” employment shopping experience for employers and potential employees alike.
Participating businesses will have an unparalleled opportunity to connect face to face with hundreds of local qualified candidates in a single day! The New York Public Library will be promoting the Job Expo widely through local media outlets, NYPL’s Website and via Social media. If you have a website, please feel free to include our information on the employment section of your site.
