British After Hours
This is our local answer to meeting at the pub. The Pub has long been a central part of British culture and life. The word 'Pub' is short for the words 'Public House.' The publican opens up part of his house to the public and becomes the host. Pub culture has always entailed meeting to discuss the news of the day, business and encourage sociability.
To that end, British After Hours is simply a way to emulate the cultural icon of "meeting at the pub" and adapt it for the purpose of the British American Business Council of North Carolina.
We look forward to seeing you at our next British After Hours event at Big Ben British Restaurant and Pub.
No charge for this event to attend. Drink specials and appetizer specials for the BABC will be available for purchase.
