Blues guitarist Brint Anderson is known for his hard picking electric guitar and his gritty vocals. From the Mississippi Delta to Texas and over to New Orleans, Brint's style is steeped in the blues. Brint's first inspiration was local Bluesman Papa George Lightfoot in his hometown of Natchez, MS. He went on to learn the music of other Mississippi bluesmen Elmore James, Robert Johnson, and more. After perfecting slide and finger picking techniques playing with a group in Natchez, Brint moved to Austin, TX. His group, Coupe De Ville, shared the bill with Austin's finest bands and were the backing band for Dr. John when he was in town. He moved to New Orleans in 1992, played with George Porter for 15 years and continues to perform and record.
