Bright Ideas: Innovation in Health Care Delivery
The 2013 Health Care Symposium will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013, 8:30AM to 12:30pm, at Covel Commons on the campus of UCLA.
The Symposium is organized by UCLA medical students and admission is open and free to the public. The Symposium invites you to join us in exploring the current state of innovations in healthcare and what you can expect in your medical futures. Health care is transforming. Will you be part of the effort?
There is a lot of new and exciting innovations in all realms of healthcare and health delivery. We will be practicing medicine in a very different environment, and this symposium serves to enrich our education about the shifting paradigm in health care delivery. Come learn about what changes are ahead of us and participate in the discussion. We will be inviting some renowned speakers to lead a discussion about the changes in community-based health and prevention, in hospital patient-centered care, as well as in longitudinal critical care health settings. Share your thoughts and opinions as well as have your questions answered during our speaker Q&A panel. This event will connect you with a network of talented like-minded professionals who are working to make healthcare better, cheaper, and more efficient here at UCLA.
Please join us as we go beyond the talking points and explore the impacts of innovations in healthcare on the practice of medicine. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, there is no charge for admission.
