Jim Hessler, with over 25 years of business management and executive leadership experience, will offer proven wisdom on topics like:
- Great (and Bad) Leadership Behavior
- Motivation, Teamwork and the Six Shovels
- Is it Ever OK to Micromanage?
- The Follower-Worthy Boss
- Should You Be Your Employees Friend? (Or Your Boss’s?)
He founded Path Forward in 2001 as a consulting, teaching, and training organization with the primary focus of helping managers become leaders.
Jim’s experience in general management has resulted in broad and deep knowledge of nearly all aspects of a well-run business. From building and managing a sales organization, managing complex inventories and delivery systems, generating vision and trust in demoralized organizations, to leading a complex, massive restructuring effort for a Fortune 150 company, Jim has earned a depth of knowledge and insight that serves his Path Forward clients exceedingly well, regardless of the leadership challenges they face.
Jim is also the author of the book: "Land on Your Feet, Not on Your Face: A Guide to Building Your Leadership Platform", and recently added "radio personality" to his resume, co-hosting "The Boss Show" every Wednesday on KKNW 1150 am from 5-6 pm (currently on sabbatical).
Jim lives in Issaquah, Washington, and has been married for 34 years to Paula Weiss, a teacher in the Issaquah School District.
