Bleeding Harp is a trailblazing, rockin’ blues band fusing the deep history of the blues with modern influences of Rock, Jam, and Southern Rock to create a sound all their own. Whether they’re playing a blues standard or one of their many high-octane originals, the band puts its own unique sound and stamp on the blues while featuring an array of blazing soloists that will leave any audience entertained and wanting more.

Poncho Sanchez - 9/21 @ 6:30 pm
Grammy Award winner Poncho Sanchez is a conquero (conga player), Latin jazz band leader and salsa singer. Born in Laredo, Texas, in 1951 to a large Mexican-American family, Poncho Sanchez grew up in Norwalk, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. He was raised on an unusual cross section of sounds that included straight-ahead jazz, Latin jazz and American soul. By the time he reached his teens, his musical consciousness had been shaped by the likes of John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Cal Tjader, Mongo Santamaria, Wilson Pickett and James Brown. Along the way, he taught himself to play guitar, flute, drums and timbales, but eventually settled on the congas.

BREA DOWNTOWN JAZZ FESTIVAL - The Third Weekend in September

SEPTEMBER 19, 20 & 21


Discover all styles of Jazz in this three day musical extravaganza. Day long festivities include a Fine Arts & Crafts Show, Beer & Wine Garden & Kids Zone - Sunday & Jazz Performers.

 

The Main Stage is located outdoors on Birch Street in Brea Downtown

 

Reserved Seating for Headliners - Includes one seat at a table by the stage, a private bar located within the reserved seating area. 

Buy your tickets early. All tickets sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.  Rain or shine.  Doesn't include dinner. Tickets are not tax deductable.   Check-In at the Information Booth corner of Walnut & Birch Street

Each night the Brea Jazz Festival Beer & Wine Garden is brought to you by a Brea service club.  A portion of the proceeds and all tips benefit the charity of their choice.  Support your community with generous tips!

Free Parking

Free parking is available in two parking structures and two surface lots in Brea Downtown. 

Local's tip:   best place to park is on the lower levels of the Birch St parking structure behind Ralphs.  Follow the "Free Event Parking" signs for plenty of parking and convenient elevators. Check out our Parking App at www.BreaDowntown.com for up-to-date parking availablity.
