with All-Star Brazilian bands & non-stop Carnaval music & dancing

at Moe's Alley in Santa Cruz on Saturday, March 15, 2014 • 8:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.

The Brazilian Carnaval 2014 Tour stops in Santa Cruz, CA for its final leg of the Tour!

SANTA CRUZ – Ariel Del Mundo, a Hollywood based producer of the best Brazilian musical talent since 1989, proudly brings to Santa Cruz at Moe's Alley, the Brazilian Carnaval: World Cup 2014, (Carnaval da Copa Mundial) on March 15, 2014. This special Carnaval party is themed after the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil from June 12 through July 15th.. The last World Cup in Brazil was in 1950. It is expected to be the biggest sporting event in history...

Carnaval, the worldwide annual celebration, is the most famous and anticipated holiday in Brazil to let loose and dance the night away. The country stops completely for nearly a week and festivities are held day and night, mainly in coastal cities like Rio de Janeiro and Salvador, Bahia. Santa Cruz's official, – Brazilian Carnaval – is the closest you can get to the excitement and rhythms of Brazil.

Ariel Del Mundo  brings the true party spirit of Brazil to Santa Cruz with all-star bands of highly acclaimed international musicians, the energy of elite samba drummers, the titillating and elaborately costumed, world-class Samba Dancers, Flying Cirque Capoeira, and more....
Audience costumes are encouraged! Exotic Carnaval masks will be available at the event for $10.

The Sounds & Samba of Brazil

Brazilian Carnaval 2014 includes music from Unidos Da Bahia with legendary members of Olodum, blending Afro Brazilian, Samba Reggae and Carnaval music from Bahia to Rio with sizzling hot percussion rhythms and samba that is electrifying. Olodum is one of Brazil's most famous Carnaval bands that collaborated with the lateMichael Jackson in their native city - Salvador, Bahia, Brazil to create the dynamic song -  "They Don't Care About Us"
Here is the video of the collaboration:

Also performing at the Carnaval is the Santa Cruz based legendary, Brazilian World Beat band -
SambaDa! The band has been performing some of the best Carnaval and Music Festivals across the US for more than 10 years and is made up of accomplished, international artists..

The Samba is to Brazilians an unencumbered way to dance into a euphoric, ecstatic state. The audience will be invited to surrender to samba beats, Flying Cirque Capoeira, and participatory Carnaval Parade dances! A parade of energetic and ornately costumed samba dancers will be led by director and choreographer
Tanilee Amor and her Samba Dancers. Per forming elaborate and lightning-fast steps, these dancers exhibit samba culture and elegance via athletic and energetic samba dance skills.
