WHERE: TCL Chinese Theatre 6925 Hollywood Blvd. Hollywood, CA 90025
Culture in Hollywood doesn’t just mean showing or watching movies these days. Branded Arts and a host of world class artists are headed for Hollywood Blvd. where they will present BRANDED ARTS TCL CHINESE THEATRES, a pop-up art exhibition event, featuring over 75 artists, to benefit one of Los Angeles’ premiere family charities, Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, on Sat., Oct. 25, from 6PM-1AM.
The iconic theatre’s world-renowned forecourt and the upper floor and lobby of the Chinese 6 complex will be decked out in art accompanied by appearances from a variety of participating artists.
The rare Hollywood evening saluting the visual arts brings together art from world-renowned artists and photographers with the powerful addition of a DJ set by Talib Kweli. Ever since emerging as a member of Black Star in the late 1990s, Talib Kweli is one of the few artists making commercially viable music that matters.
The Brooklyn bred rapper's hard-hitting music has been able to educate and entertain simultaneously, so it is no wonder that at the peak of their fame, both Jay-Z and 50 Cent named Kweli as one of their favorite rappers.
Branded Arts’ eclectic lineup of performers have included Nick Cannon, Macy Gray, Samantha Ronson and Biz Markie,
One of the most anticipated portions of the evening will be the unveiling of several unique art pieces from local contemporary painters.

ABOUT BRANDED ARTS
Branded Arts curates art exhibition openings featuring some of the most prolific artists of our time alongside work from some of LA’s rising stars. Branded Arts coordinates art-driven events that fuse visual art with music, fashion and entertainment, creating a platform that showcases emerging talent from around the world. Branded Arts’ eclectic lineup of performers have included Nick Cannon, Macy Gray, Samantha Ronson and Biz Markie, to name a few.
Over the last 4 years, Branded Arts has produced and curated several large-scale art exhibitions along with over 90 public mural projects around Los Angeles. The now demolished Branded Arts Building is the organization’s most renowned project, which received extensive media coverage including a feature in the LA Times.
Branded Arts completed a group of mural projects at THE RESERVE LA – a 20 acre creative campus in Playa Vista, home to the new offices of Microsoft, Sony PlayStation, and TMZ. The Reserve won the 2014 Best Office Project Award from the Los Angeles Business Journal.
The company’s aim is to further involve renowned artists to paint murals at local properties, developments, youth centers, and schools. The aim is to express an inspirational message with these art projects, to provide the community with a creative outlet, and to always promote positive imagery. Due to public school budget cutbacks significantly impacting art programs around the country, Branded Arts feels it is up to independent organizations to help facilitate and introduce art to young people. Branded Arts is a proud supporter of several charities including the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, The Mural Conservancy of Los Angeles, The Witness To A Dream Foundation, and Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services.
