Content Marketing: Communicating with Customers and Prospects to Create Leads and Loyalty
Featuring Mary Ellen Slayter, Managing Director, Reputation Capital Media Services
Inbound marketing. Content marketing. Brand journalism. You've heard of this stuff, but so far you can't figure out how to make it tie into your traditional marketing and sales process. This presentation will demystify content marketing for B2B and B2C companies, showing you how to craft a meaningful content marketing strategy, connect your business goals to specific content channels, and measure and report your progress. Mary Ellen will walk through specific examples of how content has been used to successfully generate qualified leads businesses.
Mary Ellen Slayter is managing director of Reputation Capital Media Services. Before creating her own content marketing firm, she served as director of content development and a senior general business and finance editor at SmartBrief, a leading publisher of e-mail newsletters. She also spent eight years at The Washington Post, where she authored the "Career Track" column and worked as an editor in the business news department. She has a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in agronomy from Louisiana State University. That means she can correct the pH of your lawn, as well as the errors in your content marketing strategy.
