When it came to BR5-49, what impressed me most was Chuck Mead - both from his guitar pickin', his lead vocal talents to his songwriting (Me & Opie, Bettie Bettie, 18 Wheels and a Crowbar, My Name is Mudd.....) - Alas he is not with BR5 anymore, not even sure if they are still around - but Chuck sure is - and he will be bringing his fun to Auburn!
To put this show over the top Red Meat will be coming back to their Sierra home - Be it their work with Dave Alvin on the Stage or in the Studio, or maybe you have seen them with Wanda Jackson, Rock-A-Billy legend, who calls on Red Meat to be her band when in California - or maybe you have stumbled on them in some dive with a packed dance floor!Smelly Kelly, Jill and the rest of the gang will be providin' such a fun start to the evening, which will be a dance-a-thon from the first note to the last!
Doors will open 7ish - music will start 8ish, all ages are welcome - but bring the ID for the bar
