When & Where
BR Walls Project
The BR Walls Project is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to expanding the visual arts scene of Baton Rouge by enhancing the artistic beauty of the large wall spaces throughout downtown and beyond.
The mission of the BR Walls Project is to stimulate creativity and economic development that inspires community change, unity & growth in our city by having artists paint key landmark walls throughout the city. The project is fueled by individual & small business donations in the spirit of 'Entrepreneurial Activism', which has grown into a movement of a thousand plus supporters.
Our hope is that this will lay the groundwork for future projects as we bring together the following cultures in BR: Live Music, Fashion, Art, DJ/Dance, Student Organizations. Food & Drink, Running/Fitness, Social Cause, Children's Art & Music Programs, International Community and more!
