Bowties & Bangles for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central New Mexico
Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM (MDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Kappa Alpha Psi has worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters since 2009 when we mobilized our membership to become volunteers. We have been working ever since to assist Big Brothers Big Sisters in reaching the collective goal of giving young men a new perspective on life and enabling them to reach their potential. Our goal from this event is to provide a reasonable donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central New Mexico as well as potentially sign up new 'Bigs' to volunteer.
The Bowties & Bangles event is envisioned to be a semi-formal night of music and dancing. In addition to adhering to the semi-formal dress code, each male guest is strongly encouraged to wear a bowtie and female guests are encouraged to don their favorite fashionable bangle. This can be accomplished a couple of ways. Creativity is the key.
The Albuquerque Alumni Chapter would like to invite those in the community that support the mission and vision of the charity that we are associated with by attending or donating to the event. Attendees include other organizations throughout the community, business professionals, other charitable organization employees, city dignitaries and leaders throughout the community.
