Booked: Cleveland's arts and culture reading exchange is a new idea from CPAC to get arts and culture professionals together and talking. Every other month, CPAC is hosting this discussion group focused on works of nonfiction by thought leaders within, and outside of, the arts and culture field. One month it might focus on innovation, another month it might focus on advocacy or marketing. This month we are focusing on Rust Belt Chic, a concept known to many a Clevelander. What is your response to any or all of the writers in the anthology and what does it mean for arts and culture?
Rust Belt Chic is available for purchase both online and in print. View availability.
This session will be moderated by Megan Van Voorhis, and the discussion will be shaped by those in the room. We are happy to partner with Mac's Backs-Books on Coventry for the inaugural Booked meeting where you may also purchase copies of Rust Belt Chic. Mac'x Backs is located on Coventry Road in Cleveland Heights. Mac's hosts readings, book signings, author events, book clubs and writing workshops. Mac's Backs is a member of IndieBound, a national partnership between independent and community book stores.
Seating is limited, so please register if you are certain you can attend. If you are unable to make it, let us know if you are reading the book so we can share the online discussion with you.
