Come meet author and adventurer Alison Levine
and help raise money for cancer research.
Alison Levine, team captain of the first American Women's Everest Expedition and author of the soon-to-be-released book ON THE EDGE: The Art of High-Impact Leadership will be at the 3 West Club on January 9th. Her new book will be available for sale that evening.
History-making adventurer Alison Levine has survived sub-zero temperatures, hurricane force winds, sudden avalanches…and a career on Wall Street. In her new book ON THE EDGE—with a foreword by Mike Krzyzewski (Coach K)—she recounts the lessons learned while climbing the highest peak on each continent, skiing to both Poles, and navigating the business world. Levine’s insight provides a roadmap to help people scale whatever big peaks they aspire to climb—be they literal or figurative—by offering practical, humorous, and often unorthodox advice about how to navigate life’s toughest terrain.
Alison’s book will be available for purchase that evening, and 20% of all book sales will go to the Meg Berte' Owen Survivorship Fund at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. For more information about Meg, visit the Meg's Team webpage to read and about her and enjoy a great video of Meg telling her story of survivorship.
Light appetizers will be served. Cash bar. And a good time will be had by all.
