Enjoy a safe and not-so-scary night at Mesker Park Zoo and Botanic Garden!
Boo at the Zoo, presented by Old National Bank, is the perfect place to enjoy a family Halloween experience. Boo at the Zoo takes places over two consecutive weekends on the evenings of October 18 - 20 and October 25 - 27. Each evening offers identical activities so you can attend the night that works best for your schedule.
Attendees will not only Trick or Treat their way through the zoo visiting candy stations, but also enjoy performances and activities such as Magician Don Baggett, giant inflatables, Storytelling with the Rivertown Storytellers, Games, Creatures of the Night and more! For those looking for a few screams, check out the optional Tent of Terror.
New this year - The Moonlite Tram! Ride the tram to experience some of the antics that go on when the sun goes down at the zoo. (The Moonlite Tram is a "boo-hoo" free zone - no tears, just giggles.)
Dress up in your favorite costume and arrive anytime between 5 & 8 pm (park closes at 9 pm). Folks of all ages will leave the zoo with lots of goodies and fun memories.
General Admission is $8/person with Zoo Members receving a discounted rate of $6/person. (Valid Zoo Membership and photo ID must be presented upon arrival.) Advanced purchase is recommended, but not required. (Tip: to avoid the potential of long entry lines; purchase your tickets in advance.)
Note: Zoo Gates will close at 2 PM each night of Boo at the Zoo for set-up. Gates will re-open for Boo at the Zoo ticket holders 5 PM.
PS: Show-off your creative side by participating in the Boo at the Zoo Scarecrow Contest; entry forms must be submitted by October 12 and can be downloaded at www.meskerparkzoo.com.
