Bonnie-on-Sky...the pop-up seafood shack
Join other seaside lovers for a night of crab, cocktails and merriment on a London Bridge rooftop!
Food and drink creatives Platterform (winners of the Young British Foodies Award for ‘Best Food Experience 2012′) are collaborating with Bonnie Gull of Bonnie and Wild fame to bring you, ‘Bonnie-on-Sky’.
Bonnie-on-Sky (launched July 5th) is a 3 week seafood supper club taking place at the Skyroom in London Bridge – a striking rooftop pavilion with perfect views of the Shard and London’s skyline which are sure to make your eyes pop out like a cartoon character.
Tickets for diners are priced at 33 quid and include a 3 course slap up meal with dishes such as whole Devon crab, queen scallops, smoked trout, sea bream baked in a bag with Pernod, Scottish langoustines, buckets of steaming mussels and barbecued mackerel...
Expect nothing short of a sensory experience combining la crème de la crème of design and entertainment, staying true to Platterform’s signature immersive dining style.
For non diners who do not want to book, amuse yourself at the ‘Bonnie Bar’ where you can:
A) Bring out the peeping tom in you by fiddling with the star gazer telescope on the amusement pier balcony.
B) Indulge in some substantial seafood snacks as well as some kick ass creative cocktails from the deckchair lounge and...
C) Relax to the sounds of rolling waves and seagulls chirping along to guest musicians providing a live seaside soundtrack for the evening. Think Sea Shanties vs. 50's Reginald Dixon Blackpool Tower classics!
This exclusive pop up is simply just a little glimpse of what’s on the cards for each collaborator. Platterform will retain a residency in the Skyroom throughout the remainder of 2012 with a series of exciting back to back food and drink concepts in the pipeline, while Bonnie Gull will be opening their first permanent restaurant, the Bonnie Gull Seafood Shack later this year.
Bonnie-on-Sky runs Thursday July 5th to Saturday July 21st from 6-10pm at the Skyroom, SE1 2TU.
