Bold Conversation with Brickson Diamond Thursday June 21st at NOON, ET
Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (EDT)
Join Bolder Giving on Thursday, June 21st at noon eastern time for a free teleconference with Brickson Diamond.
For Brickson Diamond, giving is about far more than just writing a check. As a gay black man who grew up in Atlanta with role models who were leaders in the church and the civil rights movement, Brickson learned to give of his time, his talents, and his treasure. Today, he offers all of these through service with the Liberty Hill Foundation, a progressive Los Angeles public foundation, and leadership of the Blackhouse Foundation, which he co-founded to expand opportunities for black filmmakers.
Brickson’s commitment to access for marginalized communities stems from the impact that educational access, at Brown University and Harvard Business School, had on his life. Join us to hear how Brickson leverages all of his resources to support greater access at home in Los Angeles, and across the country.

It galvanized organizations from all 50 states, D.C., and Puerto Rico, creating a tidal wave of community spirit rippling through urban communities as well as the remote hinterlands of LGBT isolation. It broke new ground amongst allies who came forward to support the LGBTQ community, many for the first time.
