EVERY MOVEMENT CAN BECOME A PRAYER....
BODY MUDRA is an explorative workshop that offers a diverse set of tools to deepen somatic awareness and awaken the body into presence, grace, and fluidity. This dynamic foundational practice blends evolutionary yoga asana rooted in Shiva Rea's Prana Flow methodology, movement drills with diverse cultural and urban flavors, and fluid combinations that have evolved directly through Morgen's own intuitive movement practice.
Create strong lines, spirals, and waves. Explore the pulse of expansion and contraction. Be fierce, be soft. Be grounded, be weightless. Come explore sacred geometry in motion!
This workshop requires no formal dance background, however, prior vinyasa yoga experience is highly recommended!
WHEN :: SAT 1/25 :: 1-3PM
WHERE :: PHANEROS :: 800 Pine St. #1 :: West Oakland
WORKSHOP RATE :: $25

When & Where
Morgen Ladyhawk Love is a California-based nomadic facilitator of creative vinyasa flow and therapeutic embodied movement arts. Her experiential body of knowledge includes years of practice and exploration in vinyasa yoga, cultural and urban dance forms, Acro Yoga, Thai massage, chanting and sacred music-making, Tantric studies, and cultural and ritual studies. Her classes and workshops create a space in which students can explore the dance between deep body wisdom, energetic alignment, and organic movement. Serving as a guide along this path, she offers a safe environment that allows practitioners to dive deeper and feel supported in navigating the realms of self-inquiry, healing, and celebration. Through evolutionary vinyasa sequencing, carefully-selected soundscapes, and inspiration drawn from diverse sources, students are invited to fully experience the poetry of their practice…to invoke their most beautiful gifts, to explore the depth of their shadows, and to begin moving into the embodied and creative essence that is our birthright!
