Fundraising is a critical component of any nonprofit board participation. This involvement goes beyond acquiring corporate support to personal gifts and personal contacts. This program will provide the participants with an overview of the key trends in nonprofit board governance and fundraising; best practices from successfully governed nonprofits; an understanding of challenges that organizations are facing in this current economic situation; and the opportunity to think creatively about how they are helping their organization raise funds.
The program will take place from 8:00am to 9:00am. Continental breakfast will be provided and served between 7:30-8:00am.
