This BLS for Healthcare Providers course features group interaction and coaching from an instructor in a classroom setting. At the end of class, participants will receive their American Heart Association certification card. Course length: 4 hours Certification: 2 years

BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Description
The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals.

Participants are required to have their own personal copy of the 2010 edition BLS for Healthcare Providers Student Manual for use before, during and after class. This book is available for purchase at http://www.eworldpoint.com/, http://aha.channing-bete.com/ or http://www.laerdal.com/.
*If for some reason you are not able to bring this book to the class, Citywide CPR will have an extra copy of the manual for you at the training site, with instructions on where to obtain your own copy for use after the class.
