BLS for Heathcare Providers Course
You will learn the skills of CPR for victims of all ages. As a Basic Life Support provider you will need to know how to perform CPR in a wide variety of in- and out -of hospital settings. You will learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and how to assist the choking victim. The critical skills you learn in this course will enable you to recognize emergencies such as cardiac arrest and know how to effective respond to a life threatening event.
BLS critical information for Healthcare Providers including:
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillator for adults, children and infants
- CPR with an Advanced Airway
- Mouth to Mouth breaths
- Mouth to Mask breaths
- Rescue Breathing
- Choking Relief
- One-man and Two-man rescuer CPR
Course concludes with both a written test and a skills test. Course lasts approximately 4 hours.
