There are an estimated 1,012,533 people in the US living with or in remission from leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has helped advance nearly every drug that fights blood cancers in the hope that someday, with your help, we will find cures. We are at an extraordinary moment in time with many people surviving blood cancers. Closer to permanent cures, we are on the brink of breakthroughs that will change peoples' lives forever - not someday, but today.
This is why we'd like to have a donation in honor of every person affected by a blood cancer. We could effectively create a support system for everyone.

Judy Jones is host of The Judy Jones Show on WAEC-LOVE 860 AM!
Judy Jones is an acclaimed author of two non-fiction books and the critically-acclaimed debut romantica novel, A Blood Like Yours. Her novel has been nominated for two National Literary Awards. Judy served as part of the leadership team for Black Women for Obama during the 2012 Presidential election. Judy is the quintessential renaissance woman - always pursuing her interests with intense, fervent passion. She will not be mediocre because she must be the best. She embraces her whole self and uses her heritage and interests as inspiration.
Judy is the Communications Chair of the League of Women Voters of Gwinnett County and serves on Emory Winship Cancer Institute's Patient & Family Advisory Board. She was awarded the 2012 Wall of Tolerance Award from Southern Poverty Law Center. Although she keeps busy, Judy also serves as an avid fundraiser and patient advocate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In 2013, she received the Mission Integration Award and was nominated for the prestigious title of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year!
