Blogs, Vlogs and Storytelling: A Panel+Workshop On Building An Audience
Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (PDT)
Los Angeles, CA
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
To blog or not to blog?
That is a question I hear often!
And that's not the only question I hear on the topic of blogging, vlogging and "storytelling."
My name is Jaclyn Mullen. I am a business coach, content creator, and I've blogged (and vlogged) for sites such as TinyBuddha.com, SheTakesOnTheWorld.com as well as About.com
In working with clients--from food+wine brands to fitness businesses, stylists and even lawyers who are using social media and blogs to promote their personal+professional brands--I've heard it all!
Should I use Wordpress or Blogger?
What's this Tumblr site and is it only for millenials?
HOW will a blog actually help me and my brand/business?
Should I BLOG or Vlog, or both?
How do I get more people to read my blogs?
Blogging has it's benefits, whether you want to write professionally, position yourself for the perfect employment opportunity or, increase brand awareness. So many people are taking their words to the web! There are Mommy Bloggers, Beauty Bloggers, Foodie bloggers---the list goes on and on.
Niche or not, experience+advice+insight from bloggers who have built up an audience and achived success, be it product sponsorship, media coverage, or, making money can help you get the most out of YOUR blogging efforts which is why I've pulled together 2 experienced Bloggers+Vloggers, in additon to myself, to share our expertise with you.
Join me, Monique Muro of ANovelQuest.com and Laurie Brucker, Founder of Laurie B. Style on Tuesday July 22nd, 2014 for a night of networking, learning and embracing your inner blogger.
Meet Laurie B. Style. Named “LA’s go-to stylist” by the Los Angeles Times in 2012 and “LA’s best personal stylist” by CBS in 2013, certified image consultant and speaker, Laurie Brucker of LaurieBstyle LLC, is all about everyday people dressing with heart. Beyond the closet, you can find Laurie in the New York Times, Huffington Post, The Washington Post, ABC News, CBS News, KTLA News, Angeleno Magazine, Women’s Wear Daily, Marie Claire, Westfield Style.
Meet Monique Muro. Twenty-eight year old writer, blogger, and business school reject from LA, on a quest to be something great. Hockey fan, book fan, beer fan. Writing saves my life every single day.
