About Bloggers Meet Startups:
This is a networking event and an opportunity for open discussion. Startups and Bloggers are welcome to bring their best 60-second elevator pitch and everyone is invited to come up and talk about their projects. Everyone gets a chance (and encouraged) to pitch in sort of a speed networking fashion so bring your best pitch.
Pitches are then recorded so startups and bloggers can review their pitch after the event.
Featured projects have 5 minutes to pitch and can bring visual aids; handouts. To learn about how you can become a featured startup, visit our website: Featured Startup Request
This month’s featured Presenters and Projects:
- Mr. Steve Hendershot, "Silicon City" columnist focusing on Chicago tech startup news and newsmakers for Crain's Chicago business.
- LuncheonApp - Luncheon is a new location-based networking platform. Meet people based on categories and mutual interests and never have another boring lunch!
- Beth Santos - Go Girl Travel Network is a community of adventurous, independent women travelers around the world that strive to connect with one another, get involved and live globally. Online, Go Girl publishes new content daily from a team of 30 travel writers based worldwide. It is the founder of the popular #girlstravel Twitter chat, the first and only travel chat on Twitter exclusively for women, recently featured on Mashable. It trends every week in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia. Offline, Go Girl organizes meetup groups in Chicago and Boston for women travelers to experience local culture, give back to their community, and make an impact for women around the world.
Everyone is encouraged to network so bring plenty of business cards to pass and don’t forget to refer this event to a friend! Please, due to the space limitations, please only send one or two per startup.
There are only 35 tickets available, so please don’t delay!
