Learn the basics of Blender interface and modeling techniques. Everything from basic shapes and controls, to intro into modifiers/sculpting/ and using reference images.
With 3D printing starting to become more well known, and Blender having a steep learning curve but many powerful features, I wan't to guide anyone wanting to learn through the interface and well into being able to make... well anything they can come up with. Plus Blender is free and open source and with that mentality, we definitely like to share info!

Hello everyone, I'm Metalnat or "Metal" for short. I've been using Blender since about 2003/04 and have been in Blender Artist Magazine twice. Also I used to teach Blender at Indiana University with a focus on the Blender game engine. I'm self taught and understand how difficult it is to start. I have also seen what amazing things can be done with this application and the great community that come with it. Also I'm a huge 3D printing enthusiast so there's that fun too.
