The Kellogg Black Alumni Club
and the Entrepreneurship Committee of the
Kellogg Alumni Club of New York
invite you to attend a
Viewing Party and Panel Discussion
of the CNN documentary

In its fourth year, CNN's Black in America series follows eight African-American entrepreneurs immersed in the predominantly young, white, male world of Silicon Valley. They live and work together as part of the NewMe Accelerator trying to diversify the tech scene.
Following an advance screening in October, a heated debate erupted over twitter regarding on-air comments made. Some have criticized CNN for pouring salt on an unhealed wound while others have defended the network for amplifying a problem so many choose to explore. We are pleased to host this event, with the hopes of bringing some thought leadership to the issues of race and entrepreneurship.
The event fee of $25 includes open bar (2 drink tickets) from 7pm to 8pm and light hors d'oeuvres. Cash bar thereafter, please tip generously. This event is open to all alumni of Northwestern University and their guests, irrespective of race or ethnicity. In other words, it is not just for black folks. We hope you'll join us.
