The Black Faculty & Staff Association Presents:

The Second Black History Knowledge Bowl 

 

WHEN: Wednesday, April 7, 2010

WHERE: Main Building Auditorium (0.104)

TIME: 6:00PM - 9:30PM

ADMISSION: FREE

DOOR PRIZES!

 

In celebration of Black History Month test your knowledge in Black History. Teams of 3 will compete in timed rounds to win cash prizes.

All teams must register and pay a $15.00 commitment fee to be returned upon participation in the event

Come support your UTSA classmates!

Subjects being covered include: Culture, Education, Politics & Political Leaders, Medicine & Health, Sports, General Knowledge, Military, Music, Movies & Television, STEM, Invetors & Inventions, Literature, Arts & Theater etc.

Teams will be e-mailed a study booklet as they register and are approved to narrow the scope of the topics being covered.

 All participants will receive consolation prizes for their participation. 

Refreshments will be served at the event &  ADMISSION IS FREE TO ALL!!!

Black Faculty And Staff Association

The mission of the Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) is to increase the participation of Black professionals and students at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). The organization will accomplish this mission by serving as an advocate and support group for Black concerns and issues at local, state, national, and University levels. BFSA further believes in the advancement of Black faculty, staff, and students, and our full participation of the pursuit of the vision and mission of UTSA.
